My ‘real’ job requires that I work at night, so I usually spend the majority of the daylight hours in the Zoological Museum.  Sometimes if I get there early enough in morning I catch the beautiful natural sunlight streaming through the windows.  There’s something magical about wandering the quiet and dimly lit aisles in the absence of people or fluorescence.  I took this photograph of the sun hitting the bookshelf I spend most of my day looking at — Dave is nice enough to let me use the shelves as a temporary art gallery for my painting series on some of the specimens with severe pathologies.
